JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior RF Engineer – GSM / UMTS (Radio Frequency Engineer)

Overall Function:

Individual contributing member of an implementation and support team tasked with planning medium to large-scale frequency reallocation or site optimization projects using Schema’s advanced wireless solutions within leading service providers Worldwide.

Duties and Responsibilities

 Utilize your GSM knowledge to effectively understand customer needs and adapt/configure Schema’s SW solutions to most effectively meet customer objectives
 Guide the customer through the Schema process, discuss major RF issues in the market with the customer
 Collect and analyze customer performance data
 Must understand Methodology and theory of RAN planning and optimization
 Optimize the network using Schema’s products and methodologies
 Validate Drive Test data and predictions
 Define specific spectrum definition strategies for the particular market
 Support goals and objectives of Schema and customer management.

Language: English is mandatory

College: B.Sc.E.E.
MsEE preferred

Experience: 2+ years of RF performance/optimization engineering with wireless operators, or infrastructure providers, or consulting company, with at least 2 years of recent GSM-specific experience.
